Children are full of ideas: "I could wash the car", "Can we have a film night?", "Mum would love flowers". With I've got an idea! they can tell you, and you can turn the good ones into real jobs and plans in one tap.
Share an idea (children)
- Tap I've got an idea! on your home.
- Type your idea, or tap the microphone on your keyboard and say it.
- Pick one: I could do… (a job you could do), I'd love… (something to save up for), Can we… (something to do together) or A present for… (a secret present idea for a grown-up).

Answer (grown-ups)
Ideas show with your approvals on your home, and in the Kitty Jar.
- A job they could do: tap Yes, add it, pick the board and list (their own rewards board comes first) and the hearts (we suggest a number, you choose). It becomes a normal job for them, and they see "Mum said yes!".
- Something to save up for: this is a prize suggestion, just like Suggest a reward. You set the hearts and say yes.
- Something to do together: Yes, add it puts it on your Family ideas board, which is made the first time and shared with the family. On the free plan, if your family already has its 3 boards, you pick a list on one of them instead.
- Not now tells them "Maybe another time". Never "no", and never "rejected".

Secret present ideas
A present idea names a grown-up, and that grown-up never sees it: not on their home, not in their Kitty Jar, not in their data download. Our database checks this on every request. The other grown-ups who look after your child see it, with Add to a board (only boards the present's grown-up can't see), Keep or Done.

Good to know
- Only the grown-ups who look after your child, and grown-ups you've given Can see, see their ideas. Friends and other families never do. See Who can see my child.
- Up to 5 ideas a day, of up to 200 letters each.
- Ideas nobody answers are deleted after 30 days, and answered ones 30 days after the answer. No AI reads them.
- Ideas are free on every plan. When an idea becomes a prize or a card, the free plan's limits for prizes and boards apply as usual.
Saying yes to a job they offered is gold: they chose it, so it tends to get done. Pop a few extra hearts on it.
