Kitty Board is free for you and one family member, for as long as you like. The Family plan is for the whole family: £3.99 a month or £34.99 a year, including VAT.
What's free
- 2 people in your family: you plus one grown-up or one child.
- 3 boards for the family (archived ones don't count), with unlimited lists, cards and tasks.
- Rewards on one board: everyone in the family earns hearts on it.
- 3 prizes to save up for.
- Jobs that repeat, cheers, nudges, double hearts, I need a hand, a child's own home, sharing with friends, Priority and reminders.
- The Kitty theme and the classic board colours.
What the Family plan adds
- Up to 4 grown-ups (your partner, and say a grandparent or a nanny) and unlimited children, at no extra charge.
- Unlimited boards, with hearts on every board.
- Unlimited prizes.
- Help me, with a fair monthly allowance for each grown-up.
- Every app theme, soft board colours and patterns.
On the free plan, Family extras show a small lock. Tap one to see what it adds. Settings, Your plan has a What you get with Family card, and now and then your home shows a gentle reminder you can dismiss. Children never see prices: they see "Ask your grown-up".
Upgrade
- In Kitty Board on the web, open Settings, Your plan, then Upgrade to Family. (Or tap a lock, or See what Family adds on your home.)
- Choose monthly or yearly.
- Tap Pay with card and pay on the secure checkout. In a few seconds Kitty Board says "You're on the Family plan!", and everyone in your family has it, on every device. Changed your mind? Email us within 14 days for a full refund.
The person who set up the family, or their partner, can pay. The plan is sold by Vindico Labs Ltd, the company that runs Kitty Board. Paying inside the iPhone and Android apps is coming soon; until then, upgrade on the web and the plan works in the apps too.
Got an invite code from us? Type it in Have a code? under Settings, Your plan: it gives your family the Family plan for a while, with nothing to pay.
Cancel
Open Settings, Your plan, then Manage subscription. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep the Family plan until the end of the month or year you've paid for. Deleting your account doesn't cancel it by itself, so cancel first. More in Cancelling and refunds.
Going back to Free
Nothing is deleted. Every board, card, heart and prize stays, and so does everyone in your family.
- Hearts carry on on your family's oldest rewards board. The others say Hearts paused: ticks there earn nothing for now.
- Prizes: the first three on your list can be cashed in. The rest say Resting. Archive or reorder prizes to choose which three.
- Boards: you can open and edit them all, even if there are more than 3. You can make a new one, or bring one back from the archive, once your family is under 3.
- People: everyone stays, but nobody new can join until you're back to fewer than 2.
- Help me switches off, and the app goes back to the Kitty theme.
Upgrade again and it all switches back on by itself: paused hearts, resting prizes, your theme and room for everyone.
