The street party
Every summer the group chat melts. This year Priya started a Do. Ruth took the sausages, Emma took the bunting, and nobody was hunting for ice at 10pm.

Dos with other families
A Do is one board for the playdate, the camping weekend or the street party, shared with the families going. Who's in, who's bringing what, and hearts for the children who help. Then you all get on and enjoy it.
Joining a Do is free on every plan. Starting your own is part of the Family plan.

The things that make a year feel like a good one. They just need a bit of organising first.

Three families, one field, one very small camping stove. The big tent, the pans and the marshmallows are sorted before anyone packs the car.

Arlo and Lily at the park on Saturday. Who drives, who brings the picnic, and what time pick-up is. Settled in two taps, not twenty messages.

Invited families say if they're coming. Someone takes the party bags, someone takes the balloons, and the birthday girl's mum gets to enjoy the cake.

A made-up street, a real kind of Saturday.
Priya from number twelve starts a Do for the street party and sends the link round. Emma taps Join. It's free. She says they're in, picks Lily to come, and takes the bunting.
Lily makes it at the kitchen table, glitter everywhere, and ticks it off on her own phone. Four hearts wait for Emma's OK, like any job at home.
On the day there's a check-in code on the gazebo. Every child scans it and gets five hearts just for turning up. The grown-ups get a cold drink and an afternoon off.

Give a child a real job at a real event and watch them grow two inches.
Four steps, all on screens you already know.
Name it, pick the date, and share the link by WhatsApp, Messages or email. Starting a Do is part of the Family plan.
They tap the link and Join, on any plan. New to Kitty Board? They sign up free from the same link.
Each family says We're in, Maybe or Can't come, picks which children come, and takes jobs with We'll do it.
Show the check-in code, and the children scan in for hearts. A week later the Do tidies itself away.
Families on a Do know each other: school, street, club or family. There is no search, no feed and no strangers.
A board you share with other families for one thing that's happening: a playdate, a camping weekend, a party or the school fair. It holds the date, who's coming and who's doing what.
No. Joining someone else's Do is free on every plan, always. A family who isn't on Kitty Board yet signs up free from the link. Starting your own Dos is part of the Family plan.
No. Couples and friends start Dos too: a weekend away, a dinner party, a festival. Children are there only if their grown-up picks them.
First names and cats. They see your grown-ups, and only the children you choose for that Do. Never surnames, emails, your other boards or anyone's Kitty Jar.
No, on purpose. Families answer "We're in", "Maybe" or "Can't come" and take jobs. There is nothing to moderate and nothing unkind for children to read. Keep your group chat for the gossip.
Yes. Put a job on your child with hearts, as on any board. When they tick it, the hearts wait for your OK and go in your family's Kitty Jar. Another family can never OK them or take them away.
On the day, the organiser shows a check-in code. Children scan it with their phone's camera and collect arrival hearts. No phone? A grown-up taps Who arrived? and picks their children. Kitty Board never asks where anyone is.
They can join your Do free. And if you're on the Family plan, you can give them 6 months of the Family plan with a gift pass, so they can start Dos of their own. Pay It Forward
Until the day it's for. A week after its date it tidies itself away. The organiser can end it sooner, and any family can leave at any time.
