Kitty Board

For families

Kids chip in. Their kitty buys real rewards.

Give each child their own jobs board and Kitty Jar. They tick, you say OK, their kitty fills up, and Friday night is pick-the-film night. No nagging required (well, a bit less).

Children are free on the Family plan, and need no email address.

How it works for children

Simple enough for a six-year-old. Fair enough for a twelve-year-old.

Their own board

Make a jobs board with them, or let them make their own. Big ticks, bright colours.

3

They tick it

Bed made, cat fed, reading done. The hearts are waiting for you.

OK

You say OK

OK or Not yet, from your own phone, wherever you are.

Their kitty fills

A shower of hearts and a sticker with a happy cat. Then they save up for a real prize.

Approvals

You stay in charge of the hearts

When a child ticks a job, its hearts wait for a grown-up's OK. You see them on your home screen with OK and Not yet. Not yet puts the job back on their list, kindly.

  • OK all in one tap after a busy Saturday
  • Any of their grown-ups can approve
  • Add a bonus for a job well done

Prize ideas

They suggest prizes, you agree the price

Children can suggest a prize they'd like to save up for. It waits for a grown-up: say yes (and change the price if you like) or not now.

  • Teaches saving up, gently
  • Prizes for one child stay private to that child and their grown-ups

Asking for help

"Can you help me?" in one tap

Shelf too high? Children can ask a grown-up for help with a job. You get a gentle note with On my way. Partners can ask each other too, and whoever helps shares the hearts.

  • No shouting up the stairs
  • Helpers earn the same hearts

Safe, private and made for children

  • Children's accounts have no email address. A grown-up adds them and sets up their device with a one-time code and a PIN.
  • Only a child's grown-ups see their Kitty Jar and prizes. Friends never do.
  • Children can't use Help me, can't be nudged by people outside the family and can't share boards with strangers.
  • No ads, no in-app purchases for children, and we never sell data.
  • Delete a child's account, and everything in it, from Settings at any time.
